Yesterday Maddie decided to go to Lugano again to visit her friend Claudia and I went along with her. It takes about 4 hours to get there, with an change of train in Milan. Lugano is beautiful and much bigger than Brig, but I really am accustomed to my quaint little towns I live in. Oh and Lugano is one of the only Italian speaking parts of Switzerland, so that throws in a third language barrier.
It was fun. We pretty much just went out with Claudia's friends to the Irish Pub by her school. It had ESPN America playing on the TVs which sort of made me sad, I miss my American sports! Since I really didn't know anyone, and Maddie had already met people that previous weekend, I sort of just stood on the sidelines and people watched, which is fine with me. I like doing that the first time or two that I'm with a ton of new people that I've never met before.
Today we walked around Lugano and ate at a cute lounge style restaurant. It was nice. Then the 4 hour trek
home, scratch that, back to Brig. Since then it has been homework time. This Organizational Behavior class is pretty annoying, and so tedious, not fun. And the other three people in my group are so confused and I feel really bad because they keep looking at me like, "I don't understand, you're the native English speaker, who don't you get it?"
I'll put pictures up later of Lugano, I'm really lazy right now.
-Love-
