One Week Down

Today was up and down for me. Since I didn't make it to bed until about 2am I only got about 4 totals hours of sleep since I had to wake up around 6:30am to take a shower and get ready for class. I was way more awake than I thought I would be! Thank goodness, because this Organizational Behavior class is ridiculous. So much more reading than necessary, honestly.

The clouds finally died off today! The view of the Alps was spectacular and I promised my Fah-Jah that I would take some pictures of them when it happened and it did today!

I also took a picture of the school that I'm attending.

After classes were over Maddie, Tyler, Colby, and I figured out where we wanted to travel to and we have all of our weekends booked! Well not technically, Tyler's booking hostels, but we have all the train times and such. Here's a tentative schedule:
** January 22nd-23rd: Munich, Germany
** February 12th-14th: Paris, France
** February 19th-20th: Rome, Italy
** February 25th-27th: Barcelona, Spain

Also, Maddie and I have Wednesday's off so we're going to make day trips to random places including Zermatt (to see the Matterhorn!), Venice, Milan, etc. Also from January 27th-30th we'll be in London with her parents. So with school and adventures it should be a packed term! Hopefully it flies by quickly.

I'm really enjoying being in Europe, but it's not easy to be away. As much as I like to travel and I like most of the people I'm here with, I would enjoy myself more if I could be with my family and Josh. When you're with the people you love it just makes it that much better. It was also extremely hard to see everyone's status about how much fun they had it CJ's last night. Thursday nights are always swing dance nights, it made me really sad.

Tomorrow Maddie and I are heading to Lugano to visit her friend Claudia while the boys go to the mountain with Mr. Perkins. Should be a pretty good day for all of us! And tonight we're going out to a bar or two in the town of Brig just to see what it's like.
