I Hate Trains.

I won't be going to Paris this weekend. I won't be going to Disneyland Paris next weekend. And there is about a 90% chance that I won't be going to Barcelona the weekend after that. All because of the way these stupid trains work.

Even though we bought Eurail passes, we still have to make seat reservations on trains that travel internationally. So we went to the train station to make reservations for this weekend, but we found out that every single seat is booked on all the trains for the weekend on the routes that we need to take. Then we find out that for certain trains (such as this particular French train company) only allow a certain number of Eurail pass holders to reserve seats. So it wasn't that the train was fully booked, just all of the Eurail seats were booked. But the guy at the train station still encouraged us to buy regular tickets. Excuse me? Why would I have bought a Eurail pass if I was just going to go ahead and buy another ticket?

We then asked about the next weekend, thinking a week and a couple days was enough time to reserve seats. Nope, same situation. This left Tyler and I in fear that we wouldn't get seats to Barcelona. And our fear was confirmed this morning when I received an email saying the seats were all booked.

WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO?! I bought an almost $700 Eurail pass to get me to all of these great places, but I can't even use it! And Maddie and I already bought our tickets to Disneyland. Luckily those are good for 6 months from the day you buy them, but still, what if we can't make it out there?! I'm terrified that I won't get to travel to all of these places we had planned on going to.

-Love-
